As the first place I tried in Albany, I gotta say, it was quite the disappointment. In hindsight, I should have gone with their sushi, but I wanted to branch out! Sigh. The service wasn't the greatest, the server didn't seem happy that I had a dietary restriction, but maybe it was just the language barrier. I ordered the Szechuan Steak, Tom Yum Soup, and a diet coke. The soda wasn't full and tasted strange. The soup was incredibly bland and watery with 2 shrimp and some thin peppers and onions. The steak itself was okay with a flavorful sauce, but the fried sweet potatoes were hard and chewy. I could barely cut them. I was only able to finish the steak, everything else was not worth trying to eat. The space was huge and well decorated, but pretty much empty when I was there around 3:30. As I was leaving, there were 2 or 3 workers at the front and not one of them said thank you or goodbye as they watched me leave. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, I don't know, but I definitely won't be back next time I'm in the area.

We were at Shogun today and had a great experience! The service was excellent — our waitress was very professional and kind. She even brought a strawberry as a little gift for our daughter, which was such a sweet gesture. The food was fresh and very tasty. They also have a full bar, and it’s kids-friendly, making it a great spot for families. Definitely recommend!

This sushi place is a must visit for an amazing sushi in the area. The quality is truly impressive and it was definitely one of the best sushi experiences I've had in a while. The service was attentive but the staff could improve on their friendliness and welcoming demeanor to make customers feel more at ease.

Ran into this beautiful gem and didn't regret it. Truly enjoyed the ambiance and food here. Food was delicious, good portion, and good cost. Staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. Place is well decorated to give the kind of ambiance relative to the culture. Quiet, warm, and relaxing space. I'll definitely be visiting again when in the area. Highly recommended.

Typical small town Asian restaurant that sell everything from sushi to Thai food. My friends and I came here for dinner on Sunday and everything we ordered were better than we expected. We especially liked the spicy rock shrimp, and the rolls were also solid for the price.
